Gorgeous Labradorite Stone, Cold Forge Wire Wrapped in Sterling Silver.
Labradorite is called the " Tempest Stone and according to native Canadian tribal lore, Labradorite is said to contain the Northern Lights, known as the Aurora Borealis. In the myth, it is believed that the lights were “set free” by one of their ancestors who broke through the rocks with his spear. The lights that remained were set into stone, and thus Labradorite was born.
I absolutely love the color play in this particular cabachon! This polished cabochon piece is full of fire and beautiful translucency with a flawless sheen. The colors in this stone are best described as a beautiful deep ocean and aqua blue, with some green flashes.
